Under the visionary leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, the Department of AYUSH organized a highly successful health camp in Rapadiya village on 11.06.2024, delivering vital health services to the community. The camp was attended by Medical Officer Dr. Ranjana Pandey and Yoga Instructor Chanchal Suryavanshi from AYUSH, providing a comprehensive range of health consultations and distributing free medicine to patients. The camp's objective was to enhance public health awareness and offer holistic health solutions.
Recognizing the growing importance of yoga in preventive healthcare, Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh emphasized the necessity of making yoga accessible to everyone. "By integrating yoga training into health camps, we can prevent numerous diseases and promote overall well-being," said Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh. In alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, the initiative underscores the global benefits of adopting yoga.
The AYUSH Department has also launched common yoga protocol practice sessions, running from June 1st, 7 am to 8 am daily, culminating in the celebration of International Yoga Day. The health camp saw enthusiastic participation from individuals of all ages, including many suffering from chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, anxiety, and high blood pressure.
Attendees benefited from personalized yoga consultation sessions, health consultations, and free distribution of medicines.
