After his wife’s death 45-year-old man ends life by hanging

Depressed over his wife's death 45-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Kamla Nagar.

The police recovered the body from his flat on Thursday night. His wife was murdered by his own son on the night of 14 February (Valentine's Day).

The son wanted to marry his girlfriend and bring her home on this day. The mother had opposed this proposal of the son.

Meanwhile, the husband was depressed since the death of his wife. Due to this, he committed suicide in his flat by making a noose of a towel. Kamla Nagar police has registered a case and started investigation.

Sunil More lived in flat number G-6 of Shabri Nagar Multi. He used to work as a labourer. His nephew Shubham told that after the death of his wife, his uncle lived alone in the house and was in depression. He did not leave the house the whole day on Thursday. His daughter made several calls but the phone was not answered. Then the daughter sent a relative to check the flat.

When the relatives reached the house, the gate was locked from inside. Even after calling out a lot, there was no response from inside. After this, the police were informed. After the information, the police reached the spot. They broke the gate and entered inside. Where Sunil's body was found hanging from a fan on a noose made of towel. The body was taken into custody and sent for postmortem. After the postmortem on Friday, the body was handed over to the family.

On the morning of February 15, information was received about the death of woman Nanda More in Shabri Nagar. There were injury marks on the woman's face and neck. Her lip was cut. The short postmortem report revealed that the death was due to strangulation.

On the basis of interrogation with neighbors and relatives, the woman's son Raunak More (19) was suspected. He was misled in the initial interrogation and later confessed to the crime.

Raunak told the police that after 12 on the night of Valentine's Day, I asked my mother to bring a girl home. Mother immediately refused and started scolding me. This made me angry and I pushed her. She hit the edge of the bed. Her lip got cut. After this, my mother got up and slapped me. I did not like this and strangled my mother with a dupatta lying nearby.

Meanwhile a youth died after his bike was hit by a Bolero car in front of Goswami Farm on Raisen Road, on Thursday night during treatment in a private hospital.

In the case, Bilkhiria police station has registered a case and started an investigation. Police said that efforts are being made to arrest the accused car driver.

According to Bilkhiria police, Sanjay Lodhi was a resident of Begumganj district Raisen. He was a contractor for house construction. He came to Bhopal on Tuesday for a visit. He stayed at a friend's flat here for two days. On Thursday, he left Bhopal to go to the village.

At around 1 pm, near Goswami Farm, a Bolero car hit his bike from behind while overtaking it. After this, the accused car driver fled. People took the injured to a nearby hospital with the help of an ambulance. Where he died during treatment. On the information of the hospital, the police have started an investigation by registering a case.

The deceased Sanjay was the only son of his parents. He was married ten years ago. He has three daughters, his only son was born twenty days ago. He had promised his friends to come to Bhopal and give them a party. He came to Bhopal as per the promise. He spent two days here with his friends and roamed around various places.
