Music is present in every particle of Gwalior. Gwalior is the centre of faith in music in the country and the world. Gwalior is the place which Tansen and Baiju Bawra gave recognition to in the whole world through music. In the same sequence, today Udbhav Cultural and Sports Association is working to establish Gwalior as a big cultural centre on the global map through dance and music. These were among some of the words expressed by the Chief of the Indian Navy, PVSM Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, during a formal meeting with the delegation of Udbhav Cultural and Sports Association at the Naval Headquarters.
Admiral Tripathi further said that Indian culture has its own identity in the world and cultural events like Udbhav Utsav lead to exchanges of cultures which promote global peace and brotherhood. The admiral also accepted an invitation to attend Udbhav's program.
On this occasion, a souvenir "A Journey Gwalior to Rome" published on the 25-year journey of the Udbhav organization and a replica of the Gwalior Fort were presented to the Chief of the Naval Staff on behalf of Udbhav. Also, information was given about the work being done by Udbhav in various countries of the world for the promotion of Indian culture.

Berasia legislator Vishnu Khatri, Additional Chief Secretary Ajit Kesari, Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Pramod Kumar Sinha, Ijtima Committee members Umar Hafeez Khan, Arif Gauhar Khan, Mukhtar Uddin, and department heads from the district were present on the occasion.Notably, this is the first time in the 77-year history of the event, a woman is actively involved in its preparations.
Gaur’s involvement is seen as a new beginning, with expectations of better implementation of the event. Traditionally, during the Ijtema, women's participation has been restricted due to the practice of veiling in Islam.
During Lalita Yadav's term at the Minority Welfare Department, then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan used to personally oversee preparations for the Ijtema.
