A 30-year-old man was murdered in the Ashoka Garden area late in the night on Monday; police have started an investigation to search for the accused.
At 10 pm on Monday night, Arvind Vishwakarma a resident of Ram Colony, Semra, had left his house to have tea. During this time, miscreants attacked him with a sharp weapon. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he died during treatment.
ASI Manoj Singh said that the body has been sent to Hamidia Hospital for postmortem, investigation is being done in the case. Deceased used to work with a building contractor.
Earlier police had received information about a dispute and fight in Ekta Puri Ground on Dial 100. Someone called and told the police that four people were beating a man. When the police reached the spot, the young man was seriously injured, after which the man was immediately admitted to Hamidia Hospital.
The man died in the hospital about 2 hours later. According to the police, the young man was killed with a stone and a sharp weapon. There were many injuries on his neck, face and body caused by stone and sharp weapons.
Gaytri Vishwakarma, a relative of the deceased, said that we spoke to him at around 9:30 pm, he was telling us that he has cooked food and is going to eat it, after that he was not seen, then the police told us at around 5 am that such an incident has happened. He had no enmity with anyone. He was living here for about three years.
