3-Day literary festival 'Bodhi: The Enlightenment' concludes at DPS Bokaro

The three-day Literary Festival, Bodhi: The Enlightenment, concluded with great enthusiasm at DPS Bokaro. The event, which celebrated the power of ideas and words, featured debates and a spelling competition, showcasing students' communication and intellectual abilities.

 

Participants engaged in both English and Hindi debates, demonstrating analytical thinking and a passion for discussion. The Spelling Competition tested their linguistic skills, promoting open-mindedness and public speaking.

 

In the Inter-House English Debate on "Artificial Intelligence is Dangerous," Ankita Sakshi of Jamuna House took first place, with Edha Singh of Chenab House and Aadya Mishra of Ganga House finishing second and third. Kumud Bharti of Ganga House won the Inter-House Hindi Debate on "Aadhunik Parivesh Men Maryadit Srijanshilta Ki Aavashyakta," followed by Anushka Arya of Jamuna House and Shrestha Rupam Dwivedi of Jhelum House.

 

Sutlej House claimed victory in the Inter-House Spelling Competition, with Ganga and Jamuna Houses sharing second place, and Raavi House coming in third.

 

Principal Dr. A. S. Gangwar praised the students' efforts, emphasizing the importance of such events in fostering a love for language and encouraging students to take risks and embrace learning.
