On the directions of Bhajantri, District Mining Officer Ranchi and Mining Inspector conducted surprise inspection and caught total 15 vehicles under Mesra Police Station, Daldali TOP, Tupudana, Bedo, Lapung Police Station from last night onwards. In which 12 vehicles laden with illegal sand and 03 vehicles laden with stone chips were caught.
The Mining Inspector's team caught 3 Hiva vehicles under Mesra Police Station loaded with stone chips, under Daladalui TOP the team caught one Hiva and one Turbo with illegal sand, under Boro Police Station the team caught two Hiva with illegal sand and under Lapung Police Station four Turbo caught with illegal sand.
F.I.R. action is being taken against a total of 15 vehicles and 45 accused in 05 police stations. In which necessary legal action will be taken by registering FIR against the vehicle owners, drivers and other persons involved under the legal sections.
The Deputy Commissioner is taking the complaints of illegal sand lifting very seriously and has been continuously running a campaign to stop illegal sand lifting in his direction. Instructions related to this have also been given in the blocks. He has especially emphasized that the district administration is determined to stop illegal sand lifting.
