‘World Environment Day’ was celebrated at Ranchi Railway Division and tree plantation programs were organized at various places of the division. Divisional Railway Manager Jasmeet Singh Bindra administered oath to the railway officers and employees to protect the environment in the premises of the divisional office.

After this, the DRM, branch officers of the division, other officers and employees planted trees in the parade ground in front of the divisional office.

Along with this, environmental protection oath was taken and tree plantation was done in various offices of the division, Divisional Railway Hospital, Coaching Depot at Hatia, various stations of the division, Railway Protection Force posts and outposts, running room and other offices. On the occasion of World Environment Day, more than 300 saplings were planted by Ranchi Railway Division today.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Mission Life (Lifestyle For Environment) campaign was started in Ranchi Railway Division from today, this campaign will run till 30 June 2024, in which various programs like tree plantation, water conservation, energy conservation, shramdaan etc. will be organized by railway personnel for the purpose of environmental protection in all the stations and offices of Ranchi Railway Division.

Chief Project Manager Gati Shakti Girish Kumar, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager cum Chief Public Relations Officer Nishant Kumar, Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Raju Tirkey, Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer Balram Prasad Sahu, branch officers of the division, other officers and employees were present in the program organized today on the occasion of World Environment Day.
