Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), on Saturday, said that JMM is ready to fight for the rights of investors invested in Sahara Finance at every level. Although this is not a matter of the State Government, despite this we will fight for the investors of Jharkhand against the Central Government, the party said.
Addressing a press meet JMM General Secretary cum Spokesperson Vinod Pandey said that a big scam was carried out by creating a multi-state cooperative society in the name of Sahara. "The Union Home Minister of the Country and the Ministry of Cooperation is responsible for this, whose minister is Amit Shah. Shah has rubbed salt on the wounds of about 1.50 crore investors and victims of Jharkhand by coming to Jharkhand recently. The cooperative minister came and left after giving a slogan," he added.
Pandey said that Shah had said that if BJP forms the Government, then the money of the investors of Jharkhand will be returned. "What is this deal with Jharkhandis? Will the investors' hard earned money be returned only if BJP forms the Government in Jharkhand, otherwise not. This is completely the matter of the Central Government. Why don't you return the money of the investors," he added. He said who is responsible for not returning the money of those who invested in Sahara, the State or the Central Government.
The party General Secretary said that after putting Subrata Roy in jail on the orders of the Supreme Court, Rs 25 thousand crores were collected by selling the assets of Sahara, but why did Amit Shah not distribute this amount among the investors while being the Cooperative Minister. "Even if the Central Government ignores the investors of Jharkhand, but JMM is ready to fight for the rights of the investors at every level. Although this is not the matter of the State Government, despite this we will fight for the investors of Jharkhand against the Central Government," he added.
Pandey said that on July 19, Union Minister Amit Shah had said that the investors' money will be returned in three to four months. For this, a web portal was created and applications were sought from investors, but 90 percent of the applications were approved. It is unfortunate that today the people of Sahara family are enjoying themselves abroad with the Country's money and investors are committing suicide. These are the same people who did not take care of even a single family who committed suicide and went to Subrata Roy's house when he died," he added.
On this occasion, Janardan Mishra of Vishwa Bharati Janseva Sansthan, who is fighting a legal battle to get back his invested amount from Sahara, said that his Rs 1 crore is stuck in Sahara. "His only son has died. He pleaded several times for his invested money but I was told that I will get the money only if I have access to the top. Every time I was cheated. Amit Shah is the cooperative minister, why doesn't he pay our money? Only the principal amount of Rs 1800 crore of the people of Jharkhand is stuck in Sahara," he added.
