Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a crucial meeting at his residence to discuss the upcoming by-elections for nine assembly seats in the state.

The meeting included ministers in charge of each of the ten constituencies and other cabinet ministers. It is anticipated that discussions during the meeting will focus on the party's candidates for these by-elections.

Previously, CM Yogi Adityanath appointed three ministers in charge for each seat, making a total of thirty officials participating in this strategic meeting. The by-elections for the nine seats are scheduled for November 13. However, the election for the Milkipur seat in Ayodhya is pending due to an ongoing petition.

According to sources, a key agenda of the meeting is how to attract support from Dalits and other backward communities for the upcoming elections.

There will also be an emphasis on effectively communicating the government's welfare schemes to these groups.

As the meeting concluded, ministers began to leave CM Yogi Adityanath's residence, providing insights into the party's preparations and strategy. BJP State President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary commented on the party's readiness, stating, "We are fully prepared for all nine seats. Under the leadership of the Chief Minister, we will fight the elections with full force. The tenth seat will also be declared soon, and we are confident of winning all seats."

Cabinet Minister Rakesh Sachan added, "The election dates have been announced, and we aim to secure victory in all nine constituencies. Our instructions are clear—convey the government's initiatives to the public with greater strength."

State Minister KP Malik echoed similar sentiments, saying, "We discussed the by-elections, and directions have been issued to ensure victory on all nine seats."

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak highlighted the government's broader vision, stating, "The meeting was held for the comprehensive development of Uttar Pradesh, focusing on strengthening the state's law and order as well as progress in various sectors."

Minister Ashish Patel emphasized the importance of the meeting, saying, "Today's meeting centered on the by-elections, and we are determined to win all nine seats."

In addition to the by-elections, the Uttar Pradesh government has initiated preparations for the state's 2025-26 budget. The Finance Department has issued directives to draft budget estimates, requesting a maximum of five key points from each department.

These points should highlight the state government's policies, priorities, flagship schemes, notable achievements, and new initiatives. Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) Deepak Kumar has issued these guidelines to ensure a comprehensive budget plan for the upcoming fiscal year.
