The Chief Commissioner for Railway Safety would hold an inquiry into the Monday's train accident involving the Kanchejangha Express and a goods train that left 10 people dead and more than 30 passengers injured.
The Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety, Northeast Frontier Railway, Janak Kumar Garg, will hold a statutory inquiry on June 19 from 10 am onwards a press release said adding "Members of the public having knowledge relating to the incident and any other matter connected therewith may appear and tender evidence at the inquiry on the dates mentioned or write to the chief commissioner of railway safety."
