A 35-year-old man was found dead at his home hours after he was beaten over wages by a person who had contracted him for work in the Ranhola area of outer Delhi.
According to the police on Thursday, the deceased has been identified as Om Prakash, a resident of Rahola area’s Gadda colony.
The police said that the accused also lives nearby and people call him by the name of Lucky.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) Sachin Sharma said, “On Thursday, information regarding an unconscious person was received in Ranhola police station. After receiving the said information, police reached the spot, where one person namely Om Prakash was found dead.”
Sharma said that the dead-body and place of occurrence was inspected by the mobile crime team and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team.
