Counselling for LLM at GNDU on July 25, 26
New Delhi: The Department of Laws, Guru Nanak Dev University has conducted LLM Joint Entrance Test on July, 18 and the entire staff worked under the instructions of Dean Academic, Head of the Department and Dr Meenu Verma. The Law Department, Guru Nanak Dev University is currently also conducting State Level Counselling for admissions to BALLB. As per the first counselling, 55 seats are filled (for Punjab quota - 32 General, 12 Scheduled Castes, 3 Backward Class, 1 PWD and for Outside Punjab quota - 3 General, 3 Scheduled Caste, 1 Backward Class). The second round of counselling is scheduled on 20.07.2024 as per the details given on punjablawadmissions.gndu.ac.in. Furthermore, the Department has total number of 26 dedicated faculty members.
Bhairabi-Sairang Railway line game changer
Maligaon: Indian Railways is significantly contributing towards transformation of the north-eastern states by executing several new railway line projects. The Bhairabi-Sairang New Line Railway Project to connect the capital of the north-eastern state of Mizoram to the rest of the country is one such project which is at an advance stage of completion. This project once completed will be a game changer in terms of communication and commerce for the people of Mizoram. Record power demand in Punjab met
Patiala: Punjab’s Electricity and Public Works Minister, S. Harbhajan Singh ETO, today announced that Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) successfully met a record high electricity demand of 3666 lakh units in a single day on July 21, despite it being a Sunday. Maximum electricity was also supplied for agriculture. Previously, the highest demand of 3563 lakh units was met on June 26, 2024. Last year, the highest electricity demand of 3427 lakh units was met on September 9, 2023, and 3425 lakh units on June 23, 2023.
