RECPDCL hands over NPTL to TEECL
Gurugram: REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, the Maharatna CPSU under the aegis of Ministry of Power and a leading NBFC, handed over a project specific SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) viz, NERGS-I Power Transmission Limited (NPTL) to M/s TechnoElectric & Engineering Company Limited (TEECL), formed for establishment of new 400 kV switching station at Bokajan in Assam and LILO (loop in and loop out) of both circuits of Misa — New Mariani 400 kV D/c line at Bokajan in Assam. TEECL emerged as the Transmission Service Provider (TSP) for the scheme through Tariff-based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process.
GNDU 11th in MDRA University Rankings 2024

NFR bats for energy through solar power plants
Maligaon: Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) in line with the policy of Indian Railways is steadily progressing to achieve the target of net zero carbon emission by the year 2030. In an endeavour to further minimize the dependence on fossil fuels, the NFR is adopting various steps to generate more and more green energy by installing Roof-Top Solar power plants in service buildings and other installations spreading across the zone. To meet the energy demand through renewable energy, NFR has generated 1.45 million unit of energy from renewable sources that results in saving `97.9 lakhs (approximately) during April- June, 2024. For non-traction energy consumption, on account of improved power factor, rebate on timely payment etc.NFR has also saved `66.7 lakhs (approximately) from April to June 2024.
