Delighted to see smiling faces of thousands of common people: Yadav

On the third day of the ‘Delhi Nyay Yatra’ which passed through four assembly areas, Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav on Sunday said that he was delighted to see the smiling faces of thousands of common people everywhere.

He said that the people now feel reassured that Congress would return to power, and all the misery heaped on them over the past 10 years of misrule by the Kejriwal Government will come to an end in another three months.

The Yatra today covered four Assembly segments of Sadar Bazar, Tri Nagar, Moti Nagar and Wazirpur. The Yatra began from the InderLok Police Station after the Congress workers, volunteers and public assembled at Milan Cinema, Moti Nagar, and concluded at Wazirpur Village Chaupal.

Yadav appealed to the people to associate with the Congress to bring change, and throw out those who ruined the Capital with corruption, inaction and inefficiency as they only mouthed lies without doing any work for the welfare of the people, or the development of the city.

“The theme song of the yatra had made great impact among the people as it fully exposes the corruption and illegal actions of the Kejriwal Government,” he asserted

Yadav, who offered his prayers at the Inderlok Gurudwara, said that the month-long yatra, which will conclude on December 4 will pass through all the 70 Assemblies in the Capital. “The yatra will enlighten the public about the unfulfilled promises and corruption of the Kejriwal Government and  BJP, as they have conspired to ruin the green and clean world class city left behind by the Congress Government after 15 years of development-driven welfare governance,” he said.
