Gearing up for the Delhi assembly elections, the state BJP on Sunday organized a meet and greet programme with the party supporters and citizens from northeastern states who have settled in the national capital.
The chief speaker, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, addressed the gathering and shared key strategies for the upcoming Assembly elections, stating that people from the North East play a crucial role in city’s economy, particularly in the healthcare and hospitality sectors.“Archery is a hallmark of the North East, and we have seen how the youth from this region bring pride to the country. There is nothing as beautiful as the North East, and seeing it reflected in Delhi fills one with pride. If there are any issues faced in Delhi, remember that you can reach out to me, as the BJP will never tolerate any threat to the unity and integrity of this nation,” he asserted.
Sachdeva mentioned that small events will be organized to strengthen ties with North East residents. Expressing his disappointment, the Delhi BJP chief said, “It is unfortunate that Delhi has a government that has only deceived and looted the city. However, this time, we need everyone’s support in the upcoming election to demonstrate the same unity you show while living in Delhi.”
