The Delhi BJP on Sunday held the first official meetings of the Election Management Committee and the Election Manifesto Committee, formed by the party recently ahead of state assembly polls slated to be held early next year.
Additionally, the party also announced an 11-member 'Pradesh Aarop Patra' committee, led by Leader of Opposition in Delhi assembly Vijender Gupta, against the ruling party ahead of the state assembly polls slated to be held early next year. In a letter, the announcement stated, “On the instructions of Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva for the Delhi assembly elections 2025, the committee formed for making a chargesheet against the failures of the Delhi government has been announced.”
The list is headed by Gupta and includes the name of former South Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri, National Secretary of the party Manjinder Singh Sirsa, former Delhi MLA R.P.Singh, Former Mayor Aarti Mehra, Leader of Opposition in Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Raja Iqbal Singh, Delhi BJP Vice President Kapil Mishra, Delhi BJP Secretary Harish Khurrana, Delhi BJP’s Mahila Morcha President Richa Pandey Mishra and senior party leader Gulshan Virmani and Sunita Kangda.
