In its manifesto for the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly polls, the Ajit Pawar-led NCP has promised to increase the quantum of assistance under the "Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana" from Rs 1,500 to 2,100 per month, to enhance the benefit under the Shetkari Sanman Nidhi from Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000 per year and to grant Rs 25000 per hectare bonus for paddy farmers..
While releasing his party's 11-point manifesto in his home constituency of Baramati on Wednesday, NCP President and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that in addition to the state-wide manifesto, his party would also release constituency-specific manifestos in the coming days.
Simultaneously, NCP (AP)'s Working President Praful Patel released the NCP (AP) his party's at Gondia in Vidarbha region, while State unit chief Sunil Tatkare released the in Mumbai.
At a mega high-tech event, the NCP (Ajit Pawar) released the manifesto in all the constituencies from which it is contesting through video-conferencing. All the senior party leaders, including Pawar, Patel and Tatkare, were present at the event.
Pawar said that the NCP (AP) -- if re-elected to power -- has promised to increase the amount under Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana from existing Rs 1,500 per month to Rs 2,100 per month. "This initiative will be the largest monthly Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in Maharashtra's history providing benefits of Rs 25,000 per year to over 2.3 crore women," the NCP (AP) chief said.

Among other things, the NCP (AP) talks about increasing the old age pension from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,100 per month.
For farmers, the party has promised to raise the Shetkari Sanman Nidhi from Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000 per year, combining support from both the central and state governments.
The manifesto also talks about waiving the farmers loan and giving 20 per cent additional subsidy for all crops sold under MSP.
Besides this, NCP has also given an assurance of Rs 25000 per hectare bonus for paddy farmers.
"We have resolved to build more than 45000 'panand' roads in rural parts of Maharashtra. This is the biggest plan to develop the rural agricultural infrastructure', the manifesto stated
Other promises include a commitment to create 2.5 million jobs and provide monthly stipends of Rs 10,000 to 10 lakh students through training.
A monthly salary of Rs 15,000 for Anganwadi and ASHA workers and commitment to reduce electricity bills by 30% while prioritizing solar and renewable energy are some other promises made by the NCP (AP)
"We vow to implement measures that will curb the prices of essential commodities, making them more affordable for everyone", the manifesto stated.
