Spicy Prunes Sesame Seeds

Spice up your meals with Chef Meghna’s inventive prune jam, a bold combination of sweet prunes, spicy chili flakes and nutty sesame seeds. This versatile condiment is perfect for adding a burst of flavor to any dish.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup of White Sesame seeds;
  • 2 tsp Oil; o ½ Cup Cumin; o ½ cup Chilean Prunes; o ¼ cup of Water; o Salt; o Chilly Flakes;
  • 2 chopped tomatoes (optional); o ½ Lemon

How to Prepare Spicy Jam?

  • Start by dry roasting ¼ cup of white sesame seeds and set aside.
  • In a pan , heat 2 tsp of oil,adding ½ tsp of cumin.
  • Introduce ½ cup of chilean prunes along with ¼ cup of water and pinch of salt.
  • Cover the pan and cook until the chilean prunes soften to a mushy consistency.
  • Stir in 1 tsp of chili flakes and 2 finely chopped tomatoes (optional)
  • Lastly, Squeeze in the juice of ½ lemon and mix well.
  • Once the mixture gets cooled,fold in the toasted sesame seeds.

 

Prunes with Spaghetti

Transform your usual pasta night with this delightful recipe that combines tender chicken, fresh vegetables and the rich sweetness of Chilean prunes. Chef Carlos brings a creative twist to a classic dish that’s both comforting and exciting.

Ingredients: o 3 chicken breast fillets; o 120g. spaghetti; o 1 bouquet of broccoli (500 g.); o 1 carrot; o 1 leek; o  1/2 onion; o 300g. small mushrooms; o a few chopped pitted prunes; o 2 tsp virgin olive oil; o light white sauce; o some anchovies in virgin olive oil; o Granulated garlic; o 2 glasses of skimmed milk water; o 1 heaping tsp cornstarch and o salt and pepper

Preparation:

In a frying pan with the oil, fry the onion, the chopped leek and the carrot until they are tender with salt and pepper

Add the laminated mushrooms to the pan or you can make them separately with 1 tablespoon of virgin olive oil and a clove of minced and golden garlic and once the mushrooms are ready, we add them to the pan with the rest of the ingredients.

  • Steam the broccoli.
  • Grill the chicken fillets and add them to the pan cut into pieces.
  • Add the broccoli in small branches and the prunes.
  • Cook the pasta according to the manufacturer’s instructions and drain.
  • Mix it with the rest of the ingredients and arrange everything .
  • Make a light bechamel with 2 glasses of skimmed or oat milk, soy and cornstarch.
  • Let cook for a few minutes until thick.
  • Add a little granulated garlic, the anchovies and mix everything.
  • Pour a certain amount of the sauce  and leave the rest in the sauceboat.

 

Prunes Crepes

For a dessert that’s as elegant as it is delicious, try Chef Claudia’s prunes crepes. This recipe layers sweet fruits and velvety whipped cream between delicate crepes, creating a sophisticated treat that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

 5 prunes;  8 crepes; 16 spoonfuls of whipped cream; 4 dates; 4 figs;  16 golden raisins; 16 raisins and 2 spoonfuls of icing sugar

How to prepare?

  • Assemble the pancakes with the whipped cream.
  • Pour nuts, prunes and other fruits on the Pancake.
  • Sprinkle it with icing sugar.
  • Delicious Prunes Crepes are ready to serve.
