The national Capital decided to beat the heat by having a special talk show on jewellery of the most talked about Netflix series Heeramandi —the Diamond Bazaar.
Hosted by the National Fashion & Jewellery Initiative team of FICCI-FLO, under the leadership of Anjali Aggarwal, the event held at FICCI House was attended by the FLO president, Joyshree Das Verma, high profile FLO members and dignitaries too.
Anjali Aggarwal, herself a Jewellery designer and stylist, moderated the talk show and asked the Jeweller duo, Vinay and Anshu Gupta, questions about how they were chosen to do the entire jewellery for Heeramandi by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and how they managed this mammoth project.
Their answers gave deep insights into the process of jewellery designing, planning, manufacturing and into the dynamics of Bollywood. Interestingly, Vinay Gupta hails from an old renowned Jewellery family of Delhi and his experience, research and designing expertise helped him create such a magnificent collection. Today, they go by the brand name Paramani Jewels.
