VIT-AP University gets ISO certifications

Amaravati: VIT-AP University received three internationally recognized certifications from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) viz ISO 21001: 2018 (Educational Quality Management System), ISO 50001: 2018 (Energy Management System), and ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management System). In recognition of VIT-AP University commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards across its undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, the certifications were formally presented to Vice Chancellor Dr. S.V. Kota Reddy and Registrar Dr. Jagadish Chandra M by M/s HYM International Certifications Pvt. Ltd, Hyderabad. These certifications underscore the university’s dedication to excellence in educational quality, energy management, and environmental sustainability. Vice Chancellor Reddy expressed his satisfaction with the achievement, stating that this significant milestone is a result of the dedicated effort, enthusiasm, and support of the university management, faculty, and staff members.

SRM IST Management students visit Dubai

CHENNAI: Students of Masters of Business Administration, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Vadapalani campus, visited Dubai recently, as part of their educational visit to De Montford University - UK, Dubai. While SRM IST was able to create an opportunity for the students to explore new markets at a global scale, the visit served as an opportunity for students to understand cultural differences. The students, who spent about a week in Dubai, benefitted immensely thanks to the exposure created by the visit to Dubai. It helped them to develop their cross-cultural communication abilities, broaden their views on global business trends and growing their professional networks. At the same time, SRM IST students received a chance to broaden their view on global business trends, apart from getting an opportunity to grow their professional networks.
