XLRI Jamshedpur inaugurated three postgraduate programs in online mode last year. These programmes were introduced in the context of the changing landscape of management education and in alignment with the New Education Policy (NEP) introduced by the Government of India in 2020. The programs included Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Online), Post Graduate Diploma in Finance (Online), and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (Online). After running the XRI Online Programs successfully with the 1st Batch of students, XLRI has opened its admissions for the 2nd Batch intake.
XLRI, one of the country’s oldest management institutes and a Category One institute per the AICTE classification, aims to shape executives as future business leaders and help them contribute to the growth of society. The online postgraduate diploma programs intend to bridge the gap between the aspirations of the participants and the requirements of qualified professionals; suitable for the industry. Students of these uniquely designed programs get an opportunity to learn from the experienced XLRI faculty as well as industry experts and peers over an interactive online platform.
“We bring these 2-year Post Graduate Diploma Programs to the working professionals who want to avail high-quality management education without leaving their job. The programs are offered in direct-to-device mode to ensure that the remote job locations or transfers from one job location to another do not become a constraint for higher education. In addition, bank loan facilities are available for them. These programs are also open to foreign nationals and Indians working abroad, particularly from various SAARC and Gulf countries.”, said Prof. Dipankar Bose, Convenor - Admissions & Quality Standards (Non-XAT)
“Learning methods at XLRI’s Online Learning programs include case analysis, lectures, and class discussions. Each program has a uniquely designed curriculum with conceptual rigor and practical relevance. Students will also experience diverse learning through peer-peer group works”, said Prof. Gloryson R B Chalil, Associate Dean - XOL, XLRI.
Keeping true to its vision, XLRI strives to offer a management-centric education that is not just leading to a degree but inspires future business leaders to respond to the unmet needs of society.
