Monday marked the beginning of Vigilance Awareness Week at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal, where the spirit of integrity and transparency takes center stage. Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS, Bhopal, administered the integrity pledge to all employees and faculty members.
In his thought-provoking speech, Dr. Ajai Singh emphasized the crucial role of transparency in our public life and urged everyone to embrace the theme for this year's Vigilance Awareness Week: "Say No to Corruption, Commit to the Nation." He passionately called upon all healthcare professionals, particularly the doctors, to uphold the highest ethical standards of their noble profession.
Dr. Singh further emphasized that the commitment to combating corruption should not be confined to just one week but should be a part of our everyday lives. He envisioned a transparent society that is free from the scourge of corruption, and he believes that this goal is achievable through collective efforts.
The event saw an enthusiastic participation of a large number of employees, including senior officers and faculty members, who took the integrity pledge with unwavering commitment.
