Panic prevailed among family members of Okendra Rana lodged in Bhopal Central Jail after an attack of Rana inside the jail surface; he was charged of abusing CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Okendra's family contacted Jail Superintendent Rakesh Bhangre. He reached the jail and interrogated Rana. Rana told them that he was not attacked and is perfectly fine.

The superintendent claimed that no injury marks were found on Rana's body. Some people are spreading rumours and in the name of treatment blood and money are being demanded by people but nothing is required.

Okendra Rana, a resident of Bhiwani in Haryana, had reached Bhopal on January 8 to support the movement of the Karni Sena family organized at Jamboree ground.

Here he had uploaded the video of abuses against CM Shivraj Singh on social media. After the video surfaced, the Piplani police registered a case and arrested him. Since then he has been lodged in Bhopal jail.

Over social media some call recordings have been uploaded. Rana is said to be injured in this and callers are asking people to donate blood at a private hospital to help with his treatment. Along with this, money is also being sought for the expenses incurred in the treatment. However, this matter has not reached the police.

As soon as the news of the fight with Okendra Rana in the Central Jail spread. Jeevan Singh Sherpur wrote on his social media handle warning the Shivraj government that if anything happens to our brother Okendra Rana in jail, you will not be safe either and wherever you will go in Madhya Pradesh you will have to face opposition and he has never seen such a hypocrite.
