Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that both engineers and scientists are necessary for the progress of the country. Orders were given to shut down the engineering college established approximately eight years ago under Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya in the tribal-dominated area Jhabua, in the year 2019.
After becoming the Chief Minister again in the year 2020, this matter was brought to my notice and I instructed to restart the college. Today, more than 500 students will get the benefit of the newly constructed college building in an area of about 36 acres. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the dedication programme of the newly constructed UIT Engineering College building worth Rs 34 crore 65 lakh in Jhabua today. Member of Parliament and State BJP President V.D. Sharma, Member of Parliament GS Damor, besides MLA Nirmala Bhuria and other public representatives were present.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that this college building of Jhabua is named after former President and great scientist Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. He had an important contribution in the field of space science. India has recently landed Chandrayaan on the surface of the Moon. Every Indian is proud of this achievement. Prime Minister Modi has relized the dream of Dr. Kalam. The Chief Minister congratulated the nation and the Prime Minister for this special achievement.
Chouhan said that along with the study of various branches of engineering, the subjects of community engagement, happiness and life values??will also be taught to the students in the Engineering College of Jhabua. Students from rural areas also have capabilities, they should get every opportunity to study.
The Chief Minister said that medical and engineering education has also been started in Hindi in Madhya Pradesh. Its aim is to make education easily available to the deserving students along with respecting the national language. In many countries, including Japan, Germany and France, the medium of instruction is in the languages ??of those countries instead of English. Regional languages ??and Hindi can make students eligible for various courses.
