There is no such work in this world which is impossible for anyone. If we try to complete that work with determination and full will power, then definitely success kisses our feet. Age is just a number for those who want to do something, said International mountaineer Jyoti Ratre while interacting with media persons.

She was addressing under the Mountaineering - Story of Courage  program organized at 9 Masala Restaurant Bhopal on Sunday organised by Public Relations Society of India Bhopal Chapter.

On this occasion, President of Public Relations Society of India Bhopal Chapter  Manoj Dwivedi, National Council Member Vijay Bondria, Vice President  Avinash Bajpai, Secretary Pankaj Mishra and other members were present.

Jyoti Ratre of the capital Bhopal left for Kathmandu on March 31, 2023 for the Mount Everest expedition and returned to Bhopal on May 29, 2023 after 58 days.

Jyoti Ratre had completed the climb to the summit of Mount Everest, about 8200 meters (26900 feet) ahead of Camp 4, and only 650 meters were left to reach the summit of Mount Everest, which is 8848 meters high, when suddenly the weather turned bad. He had to make the difficult decision to return.

According to Jyoti Ratre, so far no Indian woman older than her has been able to reach this height. Jyoti Ratre has emerged as an inspiration for crores of Indians over the years.

Significantly, Jyoti Ratre is 54 years old and has successfully conquered three of the world's seven continents, the highest mountain peaks of Europe, Africa, and South America respectively Mount Elbrus 5642 meters, Mount Kilimanjaro 5895 meters and Mount  Aconcagua  6961 meters.

In this year's Mount Everest expedition, very few climbers have been able to succeed in their expedition due to bad weather this year. When Jyoti Ratre left Camp 4 for the Mount Everest Summit at 4 pm on May 22, after climbing suddenly clouds covered the surroundings, making it impossible to move forward, she was taken back to Camp 4 by her Sherpa.
