DVC Supply workers demonstrated on Wednesday near the New ADM Building of DVC's Bokaro Thermal, demanding payment of arrears.
In this regard, Joint Morcha convenor Brajkishore Singh said that area payment of about 540 supply laborers has not been paid since last one year. A demonstration is being held here regarding this demand and the same protest will continue until positive talks are held with them.
He also said that just as incentives have been announced for DVC employees, similar incentives should be announced for supply laborers as well but along with this, ex gratia has not been announced.
DVC management should soon announce ex gratia for supply labourers. Gratuity has not been paid to the dependents of the deceased employees. In this regard, talks have been held several times with DVC management officials, but no positive initiative has been taken, due to which there is disappointment among the workers.
He said that the management should hold talks on the above demands soon and fulfill the demands. Otherwise the demonstration will continue. Naveen Pathak, Aseem Tiwari, Sanjay Mishra, Amarjeet Singh, Nageshwar Mahato, Ramchandra Mahato, Mithilesh Sinha, Lakshmi Lal, Anil Singh and other laborers were involved in this demonstration.
