Representatives from various states participating in the cultural exchange programme organised by the Junior Chamber of India engaged in discussions with Haryana, Chief Minister, Manohar Lal during their visit to his residence.
Led by Mandal 10 President, Shelly Chaudhary, the three-day "Mhara Haryana" expedition brought senior members of the association from nine states to explore prominent tourist destinations in Haryana. Chief Minister Khattar along with his special officer Bhupeshwar Dayal and the representative from Karnal Legislative Assembly, Sanjay Bathla, warmly welcomed the delegation to his residence.
The representatives conveyed their admiration for Haryana's blend of tradition and progress and said that their journey, "Haryana Darshan," was incomplete without meeting the state's leadership.
Members elaborated on the Junior Chamber of India's role as a voluntary organisation dedicated to developing leadership skills among the youth, both men and women and fostering high-character citizens and is active in 26 states of India. They also highlighted the organisation's leadership and management training programmes.
Khattar emphasised the significance of cultural programmes like these in strengthening the nation's cultural foundation. He commended the Junior Chamber of India for its unique and commendable efforts in connecting youth with nation-building activities and sensitising them towards societal issues such as substance abuse and female feticide.
