Six govt employees suspended for dereliction in poll duty

Six government employees were suspended on Monday for being absent from election duty in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh.

Head Masters Amal Singh and Sele Khakha, Assistant Teathers Ramlakhan Baiga and Basant Kumar Suren and Assistant Grade-III Ramcharan Lakra and Shankar Ram Chauhan have been suspended, an official statement said.

The six were posted at polling booth number 14 in Pathalgaon on November 17 but they did not report for work.
