RGPV issues notices to 20 students regarding dispute

The  Rajiv Gandhi Technological University (RGPV)  management has issued a notice to 20 students regarding the dispute that took place in the premsies on Friday. In this notice issued it has been said that they have to present their side in front of the Anti Ragging Committee on December 27 at 12.30 pm. The matter of unilateral action against the students who did not appear is also written in this notice.

On December 22, there was a fight between several students in the RGPV campus. In which more than 10 senior and junior students had minor injuries, regarding which the university has issued a notice to the students.

Immediately after the incident, hundreds of students immediately reached Gandhi Nagar police station to lodge a complaint. After this, the police registered an FIR against 7 students in this regard.

Gandhi Nagar police station in-charge Praveen Tripathi says that a case has been registered after the dispute between the students. The case is being investigated.

After this, workers of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) were also present on the spot.

On the other hand, UIT in-charge director Vinay Thapar says that there has been a fight between students in the college campus. We have informed the Proctor Board about this and further action is underway.

These students who have been served notices were Ardash Singh Chandrakar, Aditya Rai, Aditya Jaiswal, Ashish, Himanshu Tiwari

Rajveer Singh, Yuvraj Verma, Gaurav Mishra, Mohammad Niaz Alam

Riman Singh Tomar, Vishal Singh Thakur, Ujjwal Pratap Singh, Uthpagoswami Om, Akshat Jain, Mridul Jaiswal, Gaurav Makode, Mohammad Sameer, Aryan Singh, Nitin Bhadauria and Gaurav Vishwakarma.

A fight broke out between groups of students on Friday in the Rajiv Gandhi Technological University (RGPV) campus of Bhopal. The dispute that started in the afternoon continued throughout the day. In which more than 10 students have been injured. The injured students allege that they were beaten up by more than six students. But, the police personnel and college faculty present at the spot kept watching from a distance.

At the same time, Gandhi Nagar police station in-charge Praveen Tripathi says that a case has been registered after the dispute between the students. Statements have been taken. The case is being investigated.

UIT Incharge Director Vinay Thapar says that there was a fight between students in the college campus. We have informed the Proctor Board about this and will hear the matter on the next working day. When the students fought, neither the police nor the professors were around. As of now the police has not interrogated us of any kind.
