Koh-e-Fiza police have registered a case against the owner of the loading vehicle, the agent, the employee of Blue Dart Express Courier Company, who sold the IELTS paper for Rs 1 lakh.
The police have arrested both the employees and are questioning the gang. IELTS test is for students-immigrants going to Canada, Australia, UK. This exam is for testing the English language. It is mandatory to pass this exam to get a visa for these countries.
According to the police, Sunil Kumar Saxena (46) of Sunder Nagar Ashoka Garden, is the operation in-charge of Blue Dart Express Limited Company. He told the police that the company has its office at Zone-1, Nirmal Bhawan, MP Nagar in Bhopal. Gurgaon-based IDP Education India Pvt Ltd is a client of his company. The company conducts IELTS (International English Language Testing System) tests across India.
The company sent a consignment of examination papers on February 8 from its Gurgaon office in a bag weighing 28 kg on Indigo flight 6E602 through docket number 16267303743. The courier reached Bhopal on the morning of February 9. The said courier was picked up by our employee Kapil Karan from AAICLAS on February 9 at 8.45 am. The bag was loaded in the vehicle bearing registration number MP04GB2608. The owner of the vehicle, Saif, reached the cargo office at the State Hanger, dropped the driver in the parking area and took the car. Kapil was also in the car with him.
After a short distance, after removing the paper bag from the loading vehicle, they kept it in the Innova car and left. There was another car along with the Innova car. Both the vehicles reached Hotel Royal Atlantis located on Panchavati Colony Road. The paper was taken to room number 101 on the first floor of the hotel. This paper was handed over to Deepak in the hotel. Some other people were also present in the hotel along with Deepak. The paper bag was returned to Saif.
Police suspect that the accused returned the paper after taking photographs of the paper with their mobiles. After this, Saif hef and Deepak reached the parking lot of the airport with the paper. He kept the bag in the loading vehicle and took it to the company's Govindpura office.
The IELTS exam was on February 11, at around 10.30 am, the courier company handed over the bag full of papers to the examination in-charge staying at LN Hotel Resorts, ISBT. On the same day, information was received from the Blue Dart Delhi office that the paper bags for the IDP exam had been tampered . The team arrived from Delhi on March 17 for investigation, questioned Kapil.
He revealed that he was involved in the paper leak and car owner Saif was involved in this conspiracy along with an outsider (Deepak) since 3 months ago. On February 9, he got Rs 1 lakh for this.
