Play School Kids Tie Rakhis on Soldiers

Thursday, 31 August 2023 | PNS | Jamshedpur

In a touching display of camaraderie and respect, young children from the  play school "Step by Step with Dolly Aunty" visited the Sonari Army Camp to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with the brave soldiers stationed there. The visit brought smiles and a sense of unity as the children enthusiastically tied rakhis on the wrists of the soldiers.

Under the guidance of Principal Dolly Upadhyay, the children embarked on a memorable journey to the army camp, carrying handmade rakhis and heartfelt wishes. The soldiers, who tirelessly safeguard the nation's borders, warmly welcomed the children and shared stories of their service and dedication.

Amidst the picturesque backdrop of the camp, the children engaged in various activities that showcased their appreciation for the soldiers' sacrifices. The children were seen making colorful cards and drawings depicting soldiers as heroes, which were then gifted to the soldiers as tokens of gratitude.

Dolly mam, the driving force behind this heartwarming initiative, expressed her admiration for the soldiers and the invaluable role they play in ensuring the safety and security of the nation. She emphasized the importance of teaching children about the significance of Raksha Bandhan and the spirit of unity it embodies.

The soldiers, in turn, were deeply moved by the children's gestures and took time to interact with them, answering their curious questions and forging a connection that transcended age and background.

As the visit concluded, both the children and the soldiers parted with a sense of fulfillment and strengthened bonds. The event served as a reminder that gestures of love, appreciation, and unity have the power to bridge gaps and create lasting memories.

The "Step by Step with Dolly Aunty" play school's initiative to tie rakhis on soldiers is a heartwarming example of how small acts of kindness can have a profound impact. It not only instills important values in the children but also serves as a tribute to the selfless dedication of our nation's defenders.
