Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), Indore and the Computer Society of India (CSI), one of India's largest associations of IT professionals, have partnered to establish a CSI Chapter in Indore.
PIMR has been granted institutional membership for a three-year period, effective until March 2026. This collaboration aims to provide PIMR students with new learning opportunities and expand their horizons in the fields of management and computer education.
By leveraging CSI's resources and expertise, PIMR plans to enhance its curriculum, offer access to industry-leading knowledge and practices, and empower students to excel in the dynamic world of information technology.
PIMR's expertise in high-value management education combined with cutting-edge technology aligns with CSI's mission of integrating scientific and technological knowledge with computer science and information technology. This partnership will enable PIMR students to remain at the forefront of advancements in management and computer education, said Dr. Davish Jain, Chancellor of Prestige University and Chairman of Prestige Education Foundation, Indore.
Dr. S Raman Iyer, Director of PIMR (UG), while hailing the collaboration between the PIMR and the CSI, said the institutional membership will create fresh learning opportunities for students, fostering their professional development in the evolving field of information technology. By capitalizing on CSI's resources and expertise, PIMR aims to enrich its curriculum, offer industry-relevant knowledge, and equip students with the necessary skills to thrive in the rapidly changing IT landscape, Dr Iyer added.
The institutional membership was bestowed upon PIMR in the presence of former CSI President Prof (Dr.) AK Nayak, Dr. Davish Jain, Dr. Saurabh Gupta (Joint Secretary, Government of India), Dr. S Raman Iyer (Director of UG Campus), Dr. AR Subramanian (Registrar, Prestige University), and Convener Dr. Nitin Girdharwal.
