Paradip witnessed a significant visit by 5T Secretary VK Pandian. Arriving in Paradip by helicopter at 10 am, he received a warm welcome from several prominent figures, including Paradip Municipality Chairman Basant Kumar Biswal, State BJD secretary Santosh Kumar Patnaik and Pramod Kishore Jena.
Pandian made his way to the Mission Shakti Cafe named (Portside Cafe), where he actively engaged with the Mission Shakti women. A special meeting was organised for the purpose at the Biju Convention Centre, Paradip Port. Pandian held conversations with the women and extended his hand in greeting, expressing his overwhelming delight at the significant turnout. He took the opportunity to enlighten the attendees about the various schemes offered through Mission Shakti, emphasizing Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik's vision to empower the women of Odisha.
Furthermore, during the event, a total of 17 complaint letters were presented to Pandian by various associations. Notably, social worker Shiva Biswal highlighted the pressing need for a mega drinking water project in the region.
Later, Pandian proceeded to the Paradip ITI. Thereafter, he concluded his visit to Paradip and proceeded to Kujang, leaving behind a motivated gathering of elected councillors, party workers and thousands of Mission Shakti women.
