An e-learning and e-game under the ECCE project took off in Daltonganj on Wednesday. This innovative shot is second in line here as in far flung block Manatu, 17 Pathshalas are functional to cater educational needs to the children of the particularly vulnerable tribal group Parhaiya who understand the Udaan project.
Sources said if Pathshalas are the brainchild to the DC Palamu Anjaneyulu Dodde, this launching of the e learning and e game for children at aagan badi kendras is the year long striving of Dodde for this dating back to his being in the department of social welfare department.
A total of 165 anganwadi kendras out of 2,595 have been shortlisted to this e learning and e game. Palamu appears to be the first district in Jharkhand to have started this ambitious e learning and e game under the ECCE project in its selected model anganwadi kendras.
Minister of women, child development and social security department Jobba Majhi inaugurated it today in Daltonganj where in were DC Palamu Anjaneyulu Dodde, DDC Palamu Ravi Anand, district social welfare officer Sandhya Rani and others.
Sources said this innovative e learning and e game under the ECCE project for the faceless children in the age group of 3 to 6 years is no experiment but a reality now in Palamu where the raw hands at the anganwadi kendras Sewikas and Sahaykas have been trained to handle tab of e learning and e game.
DC Palamu Anjaneyulu Dodde who had had his stint in the state social welfare department some time back, in his speech today, narrated how the minister Jobba Majhi thinks and cares for the inmates of the aagan badi kendras in the state.
Dodde said "14 lakh children in the state got their sweater to wear and none of them will ever forget this warmth of you."
When it was the turn of the minister to speak, Jobba Majhi too was no short of appreciating the DC Palamu Anjaneyulu Dodde saying "He got this e learning and e game under the ECCE project done here, finally which is no mean thing."
A short video of e learning and e game coded to Titli was displayed on the big screen today with a very sharp music behind and that was interesting and amusing both as in the video clip a poor child while using the digital kit for e learning and e game just couldn't stop his rapture when he saw on the screen what he wanted. He clapped innocently but boldly too.
DDC Palamu Ravi Anand had a busy time in 'controlling' the stage where except for the Manika Congress MLA Ramchander Singh neither any of the two MPs nor any other 6 MLAs in person turned up. A couple of MLAs sent their representatives on this occasion.
