AIMIM chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi today attacked BJP, Congress and JMM supporting party candidate Mohd Abdul Mobin Rizvi for Dumri bypoll. The MP said that for the last 19 years the voters here have been expressing their trust in only one candidate. And, despite that neither the MLA nor the government of the state could set up a factory in the area. The result is that the youth here are helpless to migrate for employment.
Referring to the incidents of mob lynching even during the Hemant government, he said that despite there being a Muslim minister in this government, Shamshad Ansari and Aflakh Khan were murdered. Owaisi said that when people go to vote on September 05, they should protect themselves and their children. Make Rizvi victorious for the sake of secure future of the party. State President of the party Mohd Shakir Saheb and others were also present on the occasion.
Owaisi said that Hemant Soren led government is not honest in the matter of protection and development of Muslims; it only wants to take votes from them. During 2020-21, Jharkhand received Rs 155 crore from the Center for the development of minority society. Schools, colleges and hospitals could have been built with this money, but this could not happen. The State Government spent only Rs 5 crore. He said that JMM MLA Sudivya Kumar Sonu calls a person with a beard on his face and cap on his head, a wolf. With this excuse he has definitely given proof of his tongue being poisoned, now at the time of voting the voters will tell how the wolf hunts.
Owaisi further said that a government minister distributed sweets in the name of demolition of Babri Masjid on 6th December. After all, is this secularism in this government? In the period of 2019-20, this state got Rs 5165 crore from minerals but even this did nothing in the name of welfare of minorities, on the contrary JMM and the state government will blame Owaisi and his party that BJP will benefit because of us, he added.
Opposing the UCC (Uniform Civil Code), Owaisi said that this country is decorated with the bouquet of tribals, minorities and Dalits. In such a situation, how will the Modi government be able to implement UCC across the country, ignoring their beliefs? Fundamental rights in the Constitution are also there for them, it is not possible to side-line it by bringing UCC, in a BJP ruled state under Chowkidar Modi, a Muslim child is beaten up by a teacher, the one who talks about running a love shop is Hemant Sarkar in Jharkhand. Despite this, lynching occurs in villages of minorities. In such a situation, this state needs a third option, for political power, the people of Dumri should elect an MLA who can raise voice for the education of their children and the safety of their lives.
