Noted experts from across country share their experiences

CME was organized on Sunday, the second day of the Big Update 23- 8th Annual Conference of Bhopal Institute of Gastroenterology.

According to its organizing chairman Dr. Sanjay Kumar, renowned gastroenterologists from across the country shared their experiences on patient care to young physicians and doctors from Bhopal and across the state.

In this, experts gave information about stomach and liver diseases, their side effects and how to avoid them. He further said that the special thing about this CME is that the experts present in it have been given information about serious topics in simple language. So that young doctor can use it better in his own area and give better treatment to the patients.

Dr Ajay Duseja from PGI Chandigarh said during his lecture that the number of patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver is increasing continuously. In such a situation, it is necessary for the doctors to treat the patient only after understanding all the investigations and aspects.

Dr. Govind Makharia, who came from AIIMS Delhi, said that if there is pain in the stomach, definitely get it checked, it should not be ignored. Abdominal pain and diarrhea can also be symptoms of abdominal TB. Along with this, liver diseases are bigger due to poor lifestyle and less physical activity.

Dr. Sandeep Pandey, who came from Raipur, gave a lecture on pregnancy and liver disease. He said that even small amounts of alcohol can cause more harm to women than men. Also, having jaundice during pregnancy can prove fatal for both the unborn child and the woman. One of the main reasons for this is unhygienic and contaminated food and drink.

Dr. Ajay Kumar Jain, who came from Indore, gave a lecture on Infection in Liver Cirrhosis and Prevention. He said that obesity is becoming the biggest epidemic in today's era. Which badly affects the liver. The biggest problem is that liver diseases are a silent killer. Apart from obesity, causes like alcohol, BP, and hypertension also damage the liver. It is most important that we adopt coarse grains in our life.
