Nanaji Deshmukh University VC signs MoU with AIIMS

Vice Chancellor of Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Madhya Pradesh Professor Sita Prasad Tiwari signed an MoU with the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal.

The main objective of this agreement, signed by University Vice-Chancellor Professor Sita Prasad Tiwari and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Executive Director Professor Dr. Ajay Singh to work together in one direction for a better world, is to combat the spread of various diseases from animals to humans. There are diseases, infections.

Already, for the protection of human health, various experiments like drug trials, feed trials etc. are done in animals, after which only after achieving success, work is done in the interest of humans. Keeping all these issues in mind, this agreement was made.

It is a matter of great pride for Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Sciences University that the student of their university, Dr. Megha Katare Pandey, who got gold medal in graduation, also got gold medal in post graduation, Govind Ballabh Pant Agriculture University, Pantnagar and PhD from renowned ICAR.

She obtained his doctorate degree from the Indian Veterinary Institute, Bareilly and received a gold medal there also. Earlier, she was a scientist in Nishad-Bhopal and is currently posted as an associate professor in the Institute of Medical Sciences. It is worth noting that only veterinary medicine can have this kind of thinking, for which Dr. Megha Katare Pandey, posted in AIIMS, has signed an agreement between the two institutions.

For this purpose, nodal was made and due to whose best efforts such an agreement was initiated which was implemented after understanding by the top officials of both the institutions.

Vice Chancellor Professor Sita Prasad Tiwari told about the various research going on under the university and the facilities available for research like small animal house, laboratory, facilities available in biotechnology, facilities available in wildlife and forensic health etc. Dr. Ajay Singh, Director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, proposed to work on them for the health and welfare of humans and animals by making collaborative research projects in which both the institutions can work in this direction by making some good applications.
