Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MP Transco) has energized a new power transformer of additional 40 MVA capacity at 132 KV substation Seoni Malwa, increasing its transformation capacity in Narmadapuram district. Energy Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar said that with the commencement of power supply from this transformer, about 54300 agricultural and domestic power consumers of 198 villages of the area would be benefitted. Now reliable high quality power supply will be available to them at proper voltage. Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar informed that 02 new feeders of 33 KV are going to emerge from Seoni Malwa 132 V substation of Narmada Puram district, which will provide power supply to consumers of Tehsil Headquarters Seoni Malwa and Dharamkundi area located 08 kilometers away. In view of the preparation for this, MP Transco has installed and energized this transformer ahead of time as per the demand of the discom. Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar has congratulated the personnel of MP Transco for energizing this transformer.
06 feeders of 33 KV power supply in Seoni Malwa area
Laxman Arya, Executive Engineer, MP Transco, Narmadapuram said that currently MP Transco supplies electricity from 132 KV substation Seoni Malwa through 06 feeders of 33 KV, from which Seoni Malwa, Dharamkundi, Pagdhal, Shivpur, Bawri and Surajpur area is included. Whose number will increase to 08 in future. With the installation of this new 40 MVA transformer, the transformation capacity of Seoni Malwa substation has increased to 90 MVA.
In Narmadapuram district, the transmission company transmits electricity through its 03 substations of 220 KV and 06 substations of 132 KV. Now the total transformation capacity of Narmadapuram district has increased to 1925 MVA. This includes an installed capacity of 220 KV side 1080 MVA and 132 KV V side 845 MVA.
