Motilal Nehru Public School hosts inspiring English Elocution Contest

Motilal Nehru Public School was abuzz with talent and eloquence as it hosted the Annual English Elocution, Choral Recitation, Declamation, and TEDX-Millennials event . The occasion aimed to foster English speaking skills, emphasizing pronunciation, delivery, and voice modulation, while nurturing the art of spoken English.

A distinguished panel of judges, featuring Dr. Manisha Titus, Head of the Department of English at Jamshedpur Women's University, and Parvinder Bhatia, Bureau Head of The Pioneer, Jamshedpur, lent their expertise to evaluate the participants' performances. The judges lauded the participants for their commendable efforts.

The event welcomed Ishita Dey, Principal of Tarapore School, Agrico, Jamshedpur, and a recipient of the National Teachers Award in 2020, as the esteemed Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion, Manisha Titus remarked, "No matter if you win or lose, every participation adds another feather to your cap."

The competition featured students from Class III to XII, participating in various categories and events. The young orators enthralled the audience with captivating poetry recitations and compelling declamation speeches. The TEDX-Millennials segment showcased well-articulated ideas that left a lasting impact on the young minds present. All participants demonstrated exceptional talent and skill.

The English Department at Motilal Nehru Public School meticulously conducted the event's proceedings, which included two qualifying rounds: the quarter-finals and the semi-finals.

The young orators won the hearts of the judges, who were deeply impressed by their oratory prowess and thorough preparation. The announcement of the winners was met with thunderous applause, a testament to the confidence, expression, and talent displayed by the students. Krish Mishra, the School Pupil Leader, delivered the vote of thanks.
