Keep healthcare services on track: DC

Due to the recent surge in new COVID cases across various countries in the world, Hazaribag DC has instructed health officials to be alert to face the situation. She visited Sheikh Bhikari Medical College and Hospital and took stock of preparations and alertness there.

DC Nancy Sahay conducted a meeting with the health service committee and issued several instructions. She took stock of the present situation of the health services and equipment from the committee members.

She said that there is a possibility of a surge in COVID cases. This is the reason that the government has issued directions to follow the guidelines strictly in all the districts.

She said that it is necessary to keep equipment in working condition. Beds, medicines, oxygen, supply system, medical kit, COVID checking system, vaccination must be ready.

She directed the civil surgeon of Hazaribag to correct the mistakes on the collection of the data and its entry in the computer. She said that if the health department will face any problems the DC office should be informed immediately so that the issue can be resolved as early as possible.

She assured the civil surgeon that the health department will get all cooperation from the side of district administration. In the meeting the DC, Deputy Development Commissioner Prerna Dixit, Trainee IAS Shatabadi Majumdar, civil surgeon and all members of health service committee were present.
