Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the holy festival of Navratri is the festival of worship of Shakti. Madhya Pradesh and Bhopal are fortunate that we have got the opportunity to worship Shakti through the military fair and arms exhibition during Navratri. I am grateful to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government for organising the military fair in Bhopal.

The Chief Minister said that India has a known history of thousands of years. Our heroism and valour have also been established for thousands of years. India's thoughts, values and culture have shown direction to the world. If we are powerless then no one listens to us.

The Indian Army is one of the most capable force in the world. Our jawans are protecting Maa Bharti while living in the most difficult conditions. We are able to celebrate festivals s a result of the sacrifice and gallantry of the army. I salute the bravery, courage and valour of our wonderful army.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing after inaugurating the military fair and arms exhibition in the grounds of Motilal Vigyan Mahavidyalaya, Bhopal. Commanding in Chief Northern Army Command Lt. Gen. Upendra Dwivedi and senior officers of the three Services were present. Chouhan inaugurated the military fair by cutting the ribbon and releasing balloons. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was presented a memento of Fauji Mela-2023.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that it is a matter of good fortune that the Commander's Conference of all the three force is going to be held in Bhopal from March 30 to April 1. Prime Minister Shri Modi, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and senior most officers of the Army, Navy and Airforce will participate in it. He said that our army is dedicated to the victory of religion.

Prime Minister Shri Modi has a clear message that we will not tease anyone from our side, if someone teases us, we will not spare them. When Pakistan dared in 1965 and 1971, our forces taught them a lesson. Even in the Kargil war and the surgical strike, our soldiers destroyed the intentions of the enemy. The Indian Army has also made it clear to China that India is not less powerful than anyone. Even after independence, 30 thousand soldiers have given martyrdom. In their memory, we have built the Shaurya Smarak in Bhopal. India is becoming self-sufficient in arms under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi. There are many such weapons in the military fair too, which have been made indigenously.

Chouhan said that our soldiers have protected the country by making the supreme sacrifice. Not only war, our army has also been sensitively active in providing assistance to disaster affected areas. In the disaster in Turkey, the Indian Army was the first to reach and begin the relief works. We are proud of Indian Army.

The Chief Minister said that the Madhya Pradesh government is dedicated to honouring the martyrs. In the event of supreme sacrifice, the state government provides one crore rupees to the martyr's family as a mark of reverence and respect.

Along with giving a place to the family in government service, a statue or memorial is also established in the memory of the martyr.

Chouhan inspected the weapons and equipment of the Army, Air Force and Navy displayed at the military fair. The Chief Minister aimed at the target with an M-4 gun that could shoot up to a distance of 300 metres. He also observed the activities of Navy on Laser Target Designator, Fagot Launcher, Virtual Reality Set.
