DJB vice-chairman inspects coronation WWTP
New Delhi: Delhi Jal Board (DJB) Vice Chairman Somnath Bharti inspected the Coronation Pillar Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) on Wednesday with senior board officials. Somnath checked the monitoring room, lab, and section of the WWTP where the wastewater treatment takes place. He showed samples of sewage water coming into the WWTP and the treated water that comes out of the plant to the media, stating that the wastewater is being treated according to prescribed parameters. He also declared that the quality of treated water in this plant is almost equivalent to that of drinking water.
Gurugram police conducts search operation
Gurugram: To curb organised crime and eliminate criminal networks, the Gurugram Police conducted a search operation during the early hours of Wednesday. The search operation was conducted at the locations of relatives and close associates of notorious gangsters of Gurugram on Wednesday morning, police said. According to the police, the campaign was conducted at 19 different places including village Khod, Jat Shahpur, Basunda, Goriyawas, Khandevla, Tirpadi, Bohda Khurd, Tajnagar, Shakti Park Sector-10, Nakhdola, Basai in Pataudi. The operation was led by DCP Crime, DCP West, 07 ACP, and 09 SHO and about 550 police personnel were involved in this search operation.
Dr g satheesh reddy visits Noida amity
New Delhi: Scientific Adviser to Defence Minister, Dr G Satheesh Reddy, visited Amity University Noida campus, along with his colleagues, to share his inspirational journey and motivate the students of Amity. Addressing the gathering, Reddy, said the country has made great strides, and the academic strengths and technological capabilities have also developed immensely in the last few years.
