Local MLA cum Finance Minister Dr. Rameshwar Oraon distributed the Nagada and Mandar in Nagar Bhawan. On the occasion, Minister Dr. Rameshwar Uraon said that Mandar and Nagade are being distributed to protect and promote culture and heritage. Mandar is the gift of our ancestors. Mandar is used in various religious rituals, fairs etc. He said that in order to promote the culture of tribals in the state, the construction of the Akhara and the distribution of mandar instruments will be done. Also, there will be more participation of Lohardaga district in the construction of a funeral shed and cemetery fencing. MP Representative Ashok Yadav State Representative Dr. Ajay Shahdev said that Minister Rameshwar Uraon along with development is doing the work of protecting culture. Adivasis are identified with Akhara. Welcome speech was given by District Supply Officer Gyan Shankar Jaiswal and vote of thanks by Block Development Officer Pratibha Kujur.
