Hundreds of devotees left for Devaki Babadham under the leadership of Barwatoli Lohardaga. The Kanwar Yatra started from Manokamna Siddhi Durga Mandir Barwatoli, carrying the idol of Lord Shiva in a palanquin decorated with flowers, reached Ghaghra Devaki Babadham and offered water to Lord Shiva. Tableaux of Lord Shiva, Mata Parvati, Hanumanji, Nandi Maharaj, Shivgan and others were decorated on the occasion.
The devotional awakening was done by Master Dhanesh and his team. Kanwar Yatra was jointly inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna, SDO Arvind Kumar Lal, Welfare Officer Narayan Ram, Sadar Police Station Incharge Anil Oraon and other guests. Before this, all the guests were welcomed by wearing turban and safa. All the guests worshiped Maa Durga after performing Jalabhishek on Lord Shiva sitting in the temple premises. On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna congratulated the Kanwariyas. Said that we pray to God that God fulfills everyone's wishes. The district also moved forward on the path of progress. The same Kanwariyas were welcomed by showering flowers at various places. Sunil Aggarwal, Ramesh Sahu, Rajendra Khatri, Ajay Mittal, Sushma Singh, Ramlakhan Prasad, Gaurav Aggarwal and others were present on the occasion.
