The players of Godda district, who were winners in the boys and girls category of the 8th state level sub-junior netball competition, met Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday. They told the Chief Minister that the Godda team has won the title in both boys and girls categories of the traditional and fast five sub junior championship of netball held in Ghaghra, Gumla. The Chief Minister congratulated all the players for this achievement and congratulated them for better performance in future.
The Chief Minister said that our government is committed to promoting sports and players. In this connection, sports grounds are being developed in Panchayats. Sports kits and other facilities are being provided to the players through Sido-Kanhu Club. The government will provide all support to the youth here to shape their future through sports and bring glory to the country and the state with their performance.
On this occasion, Godda District Netball Team Coach Monalisa Kumari, Secretary Gunjan Kumar Jha, Umpire Shivram Krishna Dehri, Dumka District Netball Association Secretary Mohammad Hakim and Kuldeep Kumar Ravi were present.
