Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Vikas Yatras completed in Madhya Pradesh have become a yagya for public welfare. As many as 38 thousand 506 development works costing Rs 10,000 crore were dedicated in the Vikas Yatras taken out in the state from February 5 to 26.
Chief Minister Chouhan informed that bhoomi-pujans of 29 thousand 155 development works were also conducted during Vikas Yatras. Vikas Yatras were organized in all the 230 assembly constituencies. Chief Minister Chouhan said that all public representatives, citizens, officers and employees participating in the yatra deserve applause. In the Vikas Yatra, 9 lakh 12 thousand 819 applications were received from the public, out of which more than 85 percent 7 lakh 81 thousand 414 applications were resolved.
During the Vikas Yatra, administrative staff and public representatives showed interest in the development of basic facilities. Commendable efforts were made to provide benefits of the schemes to every eligible beneficiary.
