Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board is conducting a hackathon “Self-reliant Gau-Shala-Waste To Wealth” to enable Gaushalas to become prosperous by earning money from waste like cow dung, cow urine etc. In this, online suggestions are being taken from students, people and organisations associated with cow-rearing and management etc. regarding maximum income from cow-waste. One lakh rupees will be given as first prize and second prize of 50 thousand rupees will be given on the best suggestions.
Giving this information, Principal Secretary Environment Gulshan Bamra said applicants can get detailed information about the hackathon from the website of Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board https://mppcb.mp.gov.in/. The registration process has started from May 12, which will continue till May 26. Presentation will be given on June 4 by the best applications selected from the applications received. The prize distribution will take place on June 5 on the World Environment Day.
