Continuing in its belief in community development, ESL Steel Limited under the aegis of the WADI Project, in association with NABARD and in partnership with Gramin Seva Sangh, today on the occasion of Rashtriya Kisan Diwas, organised a session where tribal farmers were informed about the various benefits that could be accrued through Sustainable Agricultural practices and Gender Inclusion initiatives.
Project WADI is ESL Steel Limited’s flagship sustainable Agriculture project, which is being implemented in association with NABARD. ESL Steel Limited’s CSR department oversees and micro-manages Project WADI, in partnership with the implementing agency Gramin Seva Sangh. The project aims at helping Tribal and Women Farmers implement Sustainable Agriculture and Gender Inclusion in their farming and will positively impact 500+ tribal farmer families in 8 villages of Chas & Chandankiyari Blocks under Bokaro District.
