Taking action against encroachment was removed from a liquor shop whose employees have attacked policemen in Ayodhya Nagar late in the night on Tuesday.
Action was taken again on Thursday in the case of beating up the constable who had gone there to close the liquor shop located in Ayodhya Nagar in Bhopal. Police arrived with the Municipal Corporation staff, removed the encroachment outside the shop. The Excise Department will also take action in case of late opening of shops.
Earlier constable Kalyan Singh of Ayodhya Nagar police station had arrived at 12.30 pm on Tuesday night to get the English liquor shop closed. Here shop employees Ajit Dubey, Sachin Shandilya and Amit Pandey were found drinking liquor by keeping it on the bonnet of the car. The constable asked Ajay, the driver of Dial 100, to click photographs to keep this action of the staff as evidence. On this, Amit got angry and started abusing and threatened.
After this, the accused also attacked with sticks. The police registered a case against the accused. Two of these accused were also arrested.
Corporation staff took action outside the liquor shop located in Ayodhya Nagar. During this the policemen of the police station were present.
On Thursday, the Municipal Corporation team reached the spot and removed the illegal encroachment in the presence of the police. There was illegal encroachment outside the shop. It was removed by the BMC staff. After receiving the letter from the Police Commissioner, the Excise Department will also take action.
Assistant Commissioner Deepam Raichura told that he will take further action after receiving the letter from the police.
