DC inaugurates employment-cum-development fair

The employment-cum-development fair was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna and other guests at the Collectorate Ground Complex on Friday. SP R Ramkumar, DDC Sameera S, SDO Arvind Kumar Lal, MP representative Ashok Yadav, MP representative Chandrashekhar Prasad, MLA representative Nishith Jaiswal were also present on the occasion.

The DC said that the youth are the future of the country. For the last one year, various works have been done for the youth. Many schemes are being run by the government for the youth, so that the youth can take advantage of it. Be a valuable asset to your family and society. Chief Minister Employment Generation is being run by the government which is available on very easy installments. The registration process for this has started. Similarly, the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Scheme is being run by the Central Government. The Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana is also giving benefits from the Agriculture Department. 

District Administration Lohardaga has signed an MoU with IHM, Ranchi, in which courses related to hotel management are available under the SCA scheme. Similarly, housewives can become self-employed by joining JSLPS. You can also do courses related to tailoring. Those youths who want to do computer courses for 3-6 months can register themselves for enrollment in Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Computer Training Center. The Sports Department is taking applications for 3 day-boarding coaches. Those who want to make a career in sports can join the District Sports Training Center. Homi Jehangir Bhabha Coaching Center provides coaching for NEET and JEE entrance exams. Every possible effort is being made by the district administration for the upliftment of the youth. It is expected that the youth will write a new chapter by taking positive steps in this direction.

The SP said that in the year 2008, a similar program was organized by the Deputy Commissioner of the district, in the same program he got inspiration to join civil services. A similar program has been organized today, the benefit of which should be taken by the youth. If the energy of youth is used in the right direction then they can reach anywhere. Motor mechanics, courses related to hotel management, sports (cricket, football, wrestling etc.) are being given free training to the youth of Lohardaga district. Coaches have been appointed for this. Free preparation of civil service, engineering, medical is being given in Lohardaga district. Earlier such facilities used to be available only in big cities. Youths are being connected through Sadbhavna Manch.

DDC Sameera S said that arrangements have been made by the district administration to provide employment to more than fourteen hundred people in this employment fair, information about the schemes is being given, young men and women should take advantage of it. MP representative Ashok Yadav said that it is a very good effort of the district administration. MP representative Chandrashekhar Agarwal said that this effort by the government to provide employment to the youth is very good. Take full advantage of the Yuva Sadbhavna Manch. MLA representative Nishith Jaiswal said that this is a golden opportunity for the youth.

A total of 31 stalls have been set up by various departments in the Employment-cum-Development Fair. All the stalls put up in the fair were inspected by the Deputy Commissioner and Deputy Development Commissioner.

Deputy Commissioner handed over the keys of the mini tractor to Sukh Sampada self-help group of Jhakhra in Senha on a 90 per cent grant under land conservation.

In the programme, youth and women were given agriculture by District Agriculture Officer Shiv Pujan Ram, Animal Husbandry and Cow Development by District Animal Husbandry Officer Dr. Anoop Kumar, Garden by Prahlad Kumar, Cooperative by District Cooperative Officer AB Kranti, District Supply Officer by Amit Besra. Supply Department, District Social Welfare Officer Narayan Ram, Welfare and Social Welfare Department, Sports Department by District Sports Officer Shivendra Singh, Skill and Labor Department by District Skill Officer Dinesh Bhagat, RSETI Director Mayank Kumar informed about RSETI training.
